The product description states it will work with mp3 players so I bought it. I assume it does work with some but unfortunatley not my Creative x-fi style. When hooked up,the player just cycles on and off (no charging). While it seems to be a quality product you will want to verify it will work with your device.
After using cheap dual USB car adapters ($2) that literally stop working when I hit a bump in the road, I "splurged" and went for for a name brand on and glad I did. Sure I paid 6x as much ($12), but I would have gladly paid 10x. This thing is so solidly built and tucks away inside your cigarette lighter port. The AC adapter is also so nice and small. It fits very nicely into my laptop bag, barely taking up any space.
